A bstract This paper systematically treats the evolving quantum state for two-dimensional black holes, with particular focus on CGHS model, but also elucidating features generalizing to higher dimensions. is done in Schrödinger picture(s), exhibit dynamic evolution of at intermediate times. After a review classical solutions, connecting descriptions higher-dimensional it overviews canonical treatment full evolution, including gravitational dynamics. Derived an approximation this, following conversion “perturbation picture”, matter background geometry. Features are described, based choice time slicing put into ADM form. The choices as well coordinates slices result different “pictures” treating evolution.
